Friday 13th September - walks ***** – Around Felixstowe with Maeva
– sunny periods.
Walk 1 – The Grove.
Woke to another chilly morning but sunny, being a Friday, Maeva day I had
time to do my exercises before we walked around to pick her up, it had
definitely warmed up now. I had taken a drink and snacks so we could
continue onto the woods at The Grove, stopping enroute to watch butterflies
on a buddleia before stopping at our bench in the small grassed area a
favourite path for dog walkers. Maeva enjoyed her biscuit and drink with
several dragon fliys flitting about:) She is such great fun now and so
bright, just full of chatter and likes being pushed in her buggy through
the trees as we leave the woods and past the shops and home where she plays
before lunch, one of her favourites cheesy beans:)
Walk 2 – Felixstowe seafront.
I then make a flask with our afternoon snack and we all walk down to the
prom at the end of our road, with the wind offshore it is pleasant on the
seafront, busier than yesterday but the clouds are not so good! We find a
nice spot by a rock groyne near the spa for fun with pebbles and shells,
Maeva passes us stones for us to throw in, great fun. Maeva is now very
tired as she has had no sleep today so it is time to walk home through the
Spa garden and home, we then drive her home straight away after another top
day, she is great company:)
We are seeing her again when hopefully we are all having a picnic in
Holywells Park in Ipswich to celebrate Mags Birthday which is actually on
Monday!
